Dear All,
It comes to Robert’s attention that many of you in this email list are not on social media, so I just want to send out these encouraging stories that you guys are so much a part of. Thank you for being alongside GIBTK to make changes to kids’ life. 
 
Today, it is a story of Nguyen Cong Binh.
Binh came from a disadvantaged family with six members in Quang Nam province. Unfortunately, in 2003 his parents and his sister passed away because of a serious illness due to lack of the ability to pay for medical expenses. But this did not brake him. 
 
In 2006, he was accepted to live at Dai Loc Orphanage. He finished his high school while living there. Policy at the orphanage was the kids must return home or move out when they turn 18 years old or graduate from high school.  That’s when GIBTK stepped into his life. Binh was able access medical care, nutrition, shelter, and educational opportunities by living at Hal’s home. Our home for university male students. Binh graduated from Da Nang University in July 2017.

During his four years at Hal's home, he was equipped with leadership, emotional health, and life skills. Binh was trained to be a teacher. When he learned that Giving It Back to Kids was looking for an English teacher for Dorothea's Project Legacy 2 in Que S?n district, he applied for this position. He was brought onto the Giving It Back To Kids team.

Binh shared: "I was born in a poor home and have received great support from GIBTK. I really want to help impoverished children to access learning English. I want to give it back to the kids and to the community. I believe that these impoverished children need assistance from others in order to overcome obstacles in the same way that I did. I also believe that delivering happiness to others brings me happiness. When I teach kids English, I help them access to a whole new world. They can have a better future and earn a decent job if they know English well.”

Binh also said: “I have been with GIBTK for nearly 5 years. I really enjoy what I'm doing. My team is fantastic, and we all support and care for one another. I've attended numerous leadership training classes that have helped me develop my character and prepare me to be a great leader and mentor for the future generation. We think that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of others.”
