Today's journal is about A Lang Than Thien who is about 22 months old.

Thien was born in April 2021, but right after the delivery, a pediatrician at the local hospital informed his parents of his club feet. The parents were shocked, but when the pediatrician recommended a hospital transfer so that Thien could have the treatment he highly needed, they had to say no as they had no money, even for their bus tickets. Two months later, they finally managed to borrow some money and traveled a long distance to Da Nang Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital. There, the doctors said Thien’s deformity could be treated by ten times wearing plaster cast and surgery. However, the parents were too poor to pay for the traveling and hospital fee. Feeling totally hopeless, they told the doctors that they would have to take their son home.
