Even though 20 years is not a long period of time, Giving it Back to Kids has utilized these years not only to help thousands of heart patients but also accompany them on their life journeys. There is nothing better than watching these individuals grow up healthy and make loving families of their own.
Cu is one of these stories. His heart surgery took place 15 years ago when he was a 14-year-old boy in poor health. He is now a healthy young man. Cu got married in 2020 to his wife who is a kindergarten teacher. They have an adorable daughter who is now three years old. Cu is working at Truong Hai vehicle company in Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province. He built a small house for them to live in. Cu is grateful to Giving it Back to Kids for supporting him along his journey.
To date, GIBTK has funded 1,765 life-saving heart surgeries.
