Tran Thi Linh was born into a poor family on September 8th, 2001. Her father's passing and her mother's subsequent disability left her with little support. In 2014, Linh's mother was diagnosed with blood cancer and tragically passed away, leaving Linh to navigate life alone.
Despite the challenges she faced, Linh possessed an unwavering determination to excel academically. Thankfully, she found solace and support in Giving It Back To Kids (GIBTK), an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children.
Through GIBTK and her donor, Linh was granted a safe home at Mary's Home during her secondary and high school years, and at Lighthouse when she turned 18, gaining access to all the essentials in life, especially medical care, education, nutrition, and love. She flourished academically, and her passion for learning grew stronger.
Upon her graduation, Linh reflected on her remarkable journey. She achieved her goals and obtained a diploma with honors.
Linh's dreams expanded beyond her academic achievements. She aspired to open a clothing shop, combining her passion for fashion and her desire for financial stability. Her entrepreneurial spirit represented newfound independence and the ability to shape her own future.
Tran Thi Linh's remarkable journey is a testament to the transformative power of support and opportunity. Her resilience and determination, coupled with the unwavering assistance of GIBTK and her mentor, paved the way for a brighter future.
