Journal from our cameraman - Tin Do

From a guy who left an organization for personal reasons, but fate brought me back to Giving It Back To Kids (GIBTK) once again to serve this wonderful mission; it truly is a privilege for me.

Returning to Cambodia for the third time continues to fill me with excitement. Each trip brings the opportunity to visit new places, meet new people, and connect with the less fortunate children whom GIBTK has and is transforming their lives in many loving ways that I couldn't imagine.

I am blessed to bring knowledge about sexual education to the girls and boys whom our organization is nurturing, helping them to gain this important knowledge and protect themselves from dangers related to sexual issues and unintended pregnancies that may occur.

The sexual education session is taught by Tin for both boys and girl

There are girls who want to become doctors, girls who want to become successful businesswomen, boys who want to become teachers, boys who want to become engineers in the future, and truly I and GIBTK do not want them to fail on their paths to pursue these dreams just because of sexual issues or unintended pregnancies leading to many negative consequences like dropping out of school or working at an age when they should be in school.

We always encourage them to study well and stay away from traps related to this issue

That teaching session must be said to be extremely wonderful when seeing the dedication of the kids in learning and enhancing knowledge in this field. For me personally, I am delighted to enable this.

Adding to that are the filming sessions. I still can't believe that I graduated from Medical University with the role of a Medical Staff, but at GIBTK, the leaders discovered another small talent in me, which is my talent in photography and filming. I have invested from the leaders a lot in terms of knowledge, spirit, as well as creative freedom to always complete the work excellently, and I have achieved what I have today.

My colleagues and I have filmed many videos about the stories of the children we are helping. It may be tiring in the nearly 40-degree Celsius (104°F) heat for several hours, but we are very happy to capture the moments that those children have experienced in their hurting past. This touched me deeply about what happened to them, and we want to show you, our donors, in the near future.

I believe that these videos will be presented in the best way possible, and the GIBTK team and we will do our best to show you how GIBTK has transformed the lives of thousands of difficult lives.

No matter how the weather is, we always smile for an efficient working time

The impact that GIBTK has on these children's lives is nothing short of remarkable, and I am grateful to be a part of it.

For me personally, I do not consider this just a job; it goes beyond a job. It's a privilege, a passion, and an opportunity to contribute to GIBTK's mission, and I am dedicated to continuing this journey and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we support.

"We highly appreciate you and thank you for transforming lives"
