Throughout her life, Phuong has faced many challenges. Raised by her father, who struggled with an unstable job to support Phuong and her sibling, she learned the value of perseverance early on. Despite financial hardships, Phuong devoted herself to her studies, successfully completing her university exams through hard work and determination.
A smart girl who had to give up her studies due to family difficulties.
Her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher burned brightly within her. However, when the high cost of university threatened to shatter her dreams, GIBTK emerged as a beacon of hope, offering Phuong the chance to make her dreams a reality.
Tears of happiness when meeting the person she calls "Father"
"Since I joined GIBTK as a freshman back in August 2019, I've been on a journey filled with challenges and growth. At first, stepping into this new environment away from my family was scary, but with the guidance and encouragement of Father Robert and the GIBTK staff, I've thrived beyond my expectations. Throughout my time at GIBTK’s Home, I've not only received an education but also important love and a peaceful, healthy, and positive environment, along with life skills and lessons that have shaped who I am today.
Thanks to her efforts and the help of GIBTK, Phuong achieved her dream
I am forever grateful for the love and support I've received from everyone at GIBTK. Whether it was the care during times of illness or the career guidance that helped me find my path, their support has been unwavering. Today, I am delighted to be a teacher of lovely children—my little students at kindergarten—and it is a job I was born to do.
Lighthouse is Phuong's second home.
To the entire GIBTK organization, thank you for everything. Your kindness and support have made all the difference in my life, and I am eternally grateful," Phuong shared with pride and gratitude.
Now, Phuong is a passionate teacher as she had hoped to be
