Nguyen Van Cuong
My full name is Nguyen Van Cuong. I was born in 1996 and graduated in nursing from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy – Da Nang University in 2018. I grew up in Quang Nam province. My family has four members: my grandmother, my mother, my brother and me.
Despite limited circumstances, my family is always full of happiness.
My mother used to do all the work to be able to fund my two siblings going to school, from a worker sweeping garbage, then trading and now my mother is raising cattle and poultry. Despite limited circumstances, my family is always full of happiness, and my brother and I always try to study well at school.
I started volunteering when I was a freshman, I was not afraid when I came to strange and difficult areas.Volunteering helps me understand this life better, give me more fun and skills. In 2016, I was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit with outstanding achievements in the Youth movement presented by Da Nang Youth Union. I wish to help people in difficult circumstances because I want to see more smiles. Thus, I joined GIVING IT BACK TO KIDS at the end of June 2019. I am working as a medical staff at Dorothea’s Legacy 2 in Que Son district, Quang Nam province. I look forward to bringing more knowledge to disadvantaged children and pregnant women in the community. I hope with my small effort, I can help make this life better.
